I have been very active in the Professional Insurance Agents of Wisconsin. From 1995 to 2001 I served on the PIA of Wisconsin Board of Directors. During that time, I volunteered on many committees including membership, agents service, convention and education. I was elected to the executive board and served as President from 1997-1998. In 1998 I was chosen by my peers as the Professional Agent of the Year.
Born and raised in Mayville, I attend Mayville High School. My education continued at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh where I majored in business.
Community involvement has been very important. I am a past president of the Mayville Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Mayville Rotary Club. Through Rotary, I was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow. I remain very active in Rotary currently serving on the scholarship, rose sale and wine-tasting committees.
As an avid sportsman, duck hunting and fishing are passions of mine. I also enjoy a good round of golf.
My wife Cindy and I live in Mayville and are the proud parents of two children, Leslie and Craig.
