I am a new, licensed personal lines Insurance Agent at Mayville Insurance Agency. I first joined the Mayville Insurance team in October of 2017. What appealed to me about Mayville Insurance is the extent that the agents go through to retain customers and ensure they are giving them the best service possible. In the event of client’s having to file claims, I appreciate how they express empathy and really work to make the whole claim process as smooth as possible for the client. They really do go the extra mile for their client’s, and I am excited to be a part of it!
I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended Milwaukee Lutheran High School. I then went on to Bryant & Stratton University and received an Associate of Arts Degree in Office Administration-Legal in 1994. I then worked as a Legal Assistant for a few different law firms in the Milwaukee area ranging in their expertise from Municipal Bonds to Personal Injury. After the birth of my first son, I decided to make a switch and began doing Medical Transcription on a part-time basis for Affiliated Dermatologists in Brookfield, Wisconsin. I remained working there for the next 20 years while raising my two sons. In 2010, my husband began working in Oshkosh, which is what prompted us to move to Theresa, Wisconsin. With the long commute combined with all the changes in the medical field and the need for medical transcription dwindling, I decided, once again, it was time to make a change. That is when I landed here at Mayville Insurance Agency!
I am married with two sons, Sam and Jake. Sam attends Mayville High School, and Jake attends UW-Fond du Lac. My kids have kept me busy through the years. One of my greatest joys has been watching them play sports. Jake played baseball and basketball, and Sam plays basketball and is on the golf team. I do not know what I will do with my free time once all the sports are done! I also enjoy spending time with my family up at our family’s cabin on Long Lake in Plainfield, Wisconsin during the summer. Some other hobbies I enjoy include gardening, taking long walks with our new puppy, Roscoe, and reading. Roscoe is so much fun, but I can’t wait for the day when he realizes my hand is not a chew toy…or my pants, or socks!
